Mr. Herzfeld heads the firms' Real Estate Practice Group. He represents a number of Title Insurance Agents in litigation involving refinance and purchase transactions including professional liability, RESPA, TILA and HIFA claims. Additionally, Mr. Herzfeld is involved in the litigation of real estate class action matters.
Additionally, Mr. Herzfeld represents a wide variety of insurance carriers and self insured companies in litigation matters involving workers' compensation, aviation, transportation, products liability, insurance coverage, and general casualty.
Mr. Herzfeld is an active member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Joel is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. Additionally, Joel serves as an investigator and team coordinator for the Philadelphia Bar Association's Committee on the Retention and Evaluation of Judges and Judicial Candidates.
